“Please don’t search for god!”, was the repeated phrase many people said to me. God was with me through augmented reality in a virtual space and might have created a perfect world to me. Who is god? Where is god, if the presence of evil presented through scenes in movies is there? How come god had permitted the evil, as Alvin Plantinga argued? Is there a person with that name? Or is it common sense presented through a name in the internet?
Clumsy arguments or forgetting the gifts that were bestowed, costly mistakes which could be interpreted as bad karma and then searching for god, didn’t help my cause. From being satisfied at home with good food and some good life, I searched for proving god’s existence through arguments and proofs, which might have been somehow refuted in textbooks through some scientific and cosmic arguments. Can the mind be devoted forever to a cause and not bother about anything?. “An idle mind is a devil’s workshop”, goes a famous adage. Wouldn’t pain change a person? What about free will and what will happen if it is uninhibited? So, is punishment a way to restore order? What about the punishment’s consequences? Are there really computers or high definition televisions or are they merely illusions created by the constructions in mind, adding new meanings and echoes in a multiplex reality? Are there million dollar companies or are they merely fictions created to stimulate the mind? Are we living in a dream world? Aren’t there possessions of spirits in human bodies, which could be taken for ontological argument? Aren’t they real? These are some unanswered questions, in search of which if one goes, to prove god’s existence, he might contradict god’s creations and be termed satan or something like that. G stood for my mother, then God, and then Google for sometime but God can be Googled, can the act of clever Googling be termed as God? God is defined as infinite, and in maths, infinite is dividing by nothing. Both may not be equal. But, it is a proof that God created the world.
In ‘The Shining’(1980-English movie), the boy’s father sits in front of the typewriter for typing his novel but repeatedly types a same sentence, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. In the same way, the articles in the blog might somehow point out to same thing and nothing new. They could be termed as reflections of something, which if one sits and thinks, might able to write. No one might need to prove anything to the world, even if plenty of people might shine and make it to the tabloids. A happy and contended life, with sensible amount of information and things is more than enough. Even if plenty of things is produced and manufactured and presented before the senses, some Willy Wonka might be in the Chocolate factory, asking us to cut down the excessive consumption. If a question is asked, is this willy Wonka god, well it depends on who runs the modern world. Charlie Chaplin is a tramp but for all the details that was presented in his movies, could he still be termed as a tramp or clubbed under the category of an entertainer. Some of us might throw down the thinking hats just like he did and some of us might hesitate or be double minded. For all the news of the world that is presented in newspaper, if some educational content like board game strategies like Chess, GO, Brainvita and how combinatorial game strategies work for games like African mancala(in Tamil Pallankuzhi), or some affordable and useful scientific thoughts, ethics, theology, philosophy, experiments, that involves using mind, that could take one to places like some debate or discussion clubs and tournaments and be successful is presented, someone might benefit, perhaps some might excel, but still the world will mock at the failures and mindset of the person who failed? I am not dictating how things should be done. I was at the receiving end of a world run by some forces. But somehow, I tried to make sense of the world, be all intelligible and failed. These are my failed understandings, not meant to hurt anybody. Thanks for reading. As said above, these are some reflections of nothing and idle time scribblings. God might have created a world with meanings(meta) by combining verses and some anti-god might decouple it. If you come across any, pray to god, I shouldn’t see such mistakes hereafter.
