Hare and the tortoise story

In India, Number theory is taught in high school, without introducing the terms. Number theory is queen of mathematics, but it is not to be found in undergraduate maths. Why is it so? Who is controlling the present, controls the future. Who was controlling India’s present in the past, goes my question. We study everything in a hurry burry and tell, I have passed high school and my education is not helping me. It reminds me of the hare and the tortoise story, which is taught in school. I learn everything fast but without reason. I know how to find out square root of a number in my CBSE 6th or 7th but I don’t know the how. I know there is Vedic mathematics, but it may be number theory in disguise, where the mind grasps one explanation of the golden past and failed education. Thanks! I might be wrong. These are some thoughts from introspection.
